Color for Fall 2012: Burgundy and Hunter Green

All over the runway for the Fall 2012 collection were dresses and head-to-toe outfits in the season's latest colors - burgundy and hunter green.

First Lady of the United States of America supported her husband at the Democratic National Convention in a maroon patterned dress by designer Laura Smalls.

Before the trend had hit the runway, Jennifer Lawrence wore a hunter green number by Calvin Klein as she premiered the movie with which she rose to stardom, The Hunger Games, in New York. 

To show that guys aren't spared from falling victim to fashion, Gabriel Mann looked smart at the Tommy Hilfiger Men's Spring 2013 show at New York Fashion Week suited up in a burgundy-navy combo. 

Rihanna channels her inner rocker chick as she is seen in the UK wearing a black sheer maxi dress underneath a hunter green leather jacket by McQ Alexander McQueen, and accessorized her look with a baseball cap, gold necklaces and Gucci bag.

On- and off-screen couple Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone showed up in burgundy outfits while promoting The Amazing Spider-Man in Europe. Andrew suited up in Balenciaga for the premiere in Paris, and Emma picked a Roksanda Illincic number for the Madrid photocall (not a big fan of the black-and-white Louboutins she wore though).

New mom January Jones was seen out and about in Los Angeles in hunter green "Alice Skinny" jeans by Habitual.

Camila Alves, aka Mrs. Matthew McConaughey, did a commercial spot for Macy's for INC International Concepts in a body-hugging dress in burgundy.

Yesterday, actress Winona Ryder showed up at the photo call with co-star Chris Evans for their movie The Iceman at the 2012 Toronto International Film Festival, wearing a hunter green dress with an uneven hem.

Allison Williams was at the Peter Som Spring 2013 show at Fashion Week to support her designer friend, as she posed for the cameras in an oxblood leather ensemble.

Fashionista Lauren Conrad was guest at the Tracy Reese show in her patterned dress paired with black pumps.

Vampire Diaries' Kat Graham graced the VMAs in a burgundy satin pantsuit. (Loved how she complemented her look with dark lips and heels in a lighter shade.)

Rachel McAdams looked perfect in a green floor-length dress by Elie Saab that featured a high neckline and a single-sided sleeve. This was at the premiere of her new film To The Wonder at the Toronto International Film Festival.

Gossip Girl actress Blake Lively (who just tied the knot with Ryan Reynolds!) looked incredibly sexy as the new face of a new fragrance Premiere at a Gucci party launch. Gotta love the burgundy ensemble, with the short sequinned dress showing off her mile-long legs and cleavage, together with another hot trend of the season, the ankle-strap heel.

Capturing the best of both worlds in her dress, Selita Ebanks was pretty at Fashion's Night Out in NYC as she flaunted her body in a short frock with green details over a burgundy lining. Gorgeous.
