Style for Less: Olivia Palermo and her Manolo Blahniks

Aren't those satin blue Manolo Blahniks simply breathtaking? I just love how Olivia Palermo (okay, I confess I love everything about her) styled those heels which are absolutely outstanding and make a great must-have in any girls' shoe collection. 

In the first outfit, the stylish socialite matched her shoes against her striped top worn beneath a classic blazer with standout black details. 

Gracing a Mulberry event in the second outfit, was OP cleverly clashing her luxurious heels against a warmer palette. The result - a unique look that is unpredictable yet fun. 

I always keep visuals of Olivia Palermo on the top of my mind and when I saw the following pair of g.o.r.g.e.o.u.s look-alike at a steal (30-freakin'-bucks), resisting the great bargain was not an option.

They were going for S$309 at retail price, but the price was slashed enormously at a warehouse sale. It must have been fate, 'cos these were just thrown in a pool of shoes and only two pairs were left, one in EU38 and the other in my size!! The fit is perfect, though a little snug in the front, but they'll expand after awhile. 

I have to brag about the buy because this has got to be one of the best bargains I've ever gotten. The satin looks expensive (well, the shoes used to cost a lot more), also with thanks to the rose gold details - the buckle, a logo stud on the back of each shoe and on the heel just above the top-piece. 

While these Ted Bakers bring wonder to a simple outfit, they would still be attention-grabbing worn beneath a wedding gown or complementing a evening gown (many colors would work with royal blue!). 

Can't wait to wear them out!
