Trend Alert: Printed Pants

Printed pants - either you love 'em or you hate 'em. Personally, it took awhile for me to swallow the trend, but I've grown to love it, but have yet to muster up the courage to wear them. More importantly, it has been rather hard to find a pair that I would actually wear out, until I regret not buying the navy pair with printed red and white dots at H&M. Argh. The agony of passing up such a great pair at a good deal.






The trousers version of the trend is a great way to pump up your regular corporate outfits. Just keep the rest of your outfit simple and pull the look together with a great fitting blazer and you're off to brighten your boss' day at work!

For a more casual look, pick a pair of printed pants in a less structured cut. Fabric with greater movement signals a more relaxed vibe. Casually cuffing the trouser legs also helps.

You can take baby steps into this trend by trying out the legging or denim versions. They now come in all kinds of prints, from tribal to floral and more!

    i think when u wear prints in baggy pants, they look like pajamas. however, the skinnies are lovely!

    I agree that baggy is kinda pajamas-y. Like I liked Fergie's pants in terms of its print, but I thought it looked a little too slouchy. But I'd love a pair like Vanessa Hudgens', mid-waist and kinda ends above the ankles. Topshop, Pull and Bear has some great ones but expensive for my budget!
